Christmas Crackers with Holiday Lounge Designer Paper

Well it was a very busy class last night, lots of crackers and tags being made.  Here are a couple of Chantal's creations.  She used Holiday Lounge designer paper. Her one end is open waiting to be filled with goodies.  Making your own crackers is a lot of fun and being able to personalize them is pretty cool.

 

Below I created a shadow box using the Holiday Lounge paper as my inspiration.  I just added a few filigree brads and the Joy ornament from Stampin' Up and my box was complete.   Jo

 

Using up old supplies

Lately, I have been pulling out my old retired supplies and putting them to use.  It has been really fun using some of my old favourites.  I love the way this birthday card turned out, a mix of new and old.  The stamp set (everything nice) is from the current catalogue as is the big shot die I used for the cupcake.  But the designer paper is last years Christmas paper.  I thought it was perfect for a more masculine card.  Kim

And last of the group, Val. Val's designer paper is a beautiful Perfect Plum, it is hard to see the colour, she matched it will silver embossed ornaments and used the platinum shimmer paint on the letters and snowflake, man, it looks embossed but easier, way to go Val.

Greenhouse Garden

So, I was dying to get this set for the longest time.  I finally got it about a month ago and wouldn't you know it, it has been sitting unused ever since.  Today though I had 4 birthday cards to make so I figured this was my chance to break it out.  I have the feeling that you will be seeing a lot of cards from me made with this set. : ) It uses the two-step stamping technique with a stamp-a-ma-jig.  I love the way it gives the flowers dimension.  Kim

So Impressed

Shadow box class tonight

Just a quick reminder that my shadow box class is Thursday Nov. 5th @ 7:00.  Looking forward to it.  People can really get creative with this class.  I will post some of the creations Friday!!!! Jo

Here is a sweet card that was displayed at convention.  They used a window sheet and put glitter inside it, kind of reminds me of a snow globe.  

tiles

Just wanted to share a few tiles the girls made last week...

Making new tiles and having new people create new designs is always so much fun and inspiring.

I have one last tile class before Christmas, Friday Nov. 20th at 7:00, attending are  Janice, Monika,Jean Jamie and Elaine, Ann Marie, Christine and friend, class is full thank you.

 The cost is $22.00 for 8 tiles, I bake and spray them.   Jo
